PTA

The main role of the PTA is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and schools in support of students.

This can include recruiting and coordinating volunteers from parent communities
Organizing activities that would involve parents, students and neighborhood.
PTA will work with the school to decide jointly which programs will most benefit the school.
PTA meetings serve as venues for discussions about a variety of educational issues, building better relationships with communities or share important information about school reform initiatives.
The PTA should be a neutral forum for resolving conflicts that sometimes occur in schools.
